Cable repair in mast

Anyone had a similar problem ?
Appreciate any advice on repairing this !

As you can see in the photos, 3 cables enter the bottom of mast from the motor, but only 2 cables exit the mast at the top. The other cable (red/power) is broken about 1.5 or 2 inches below the top of the mast (about where the detached end is placed in 2nd photo).
It a Cimisport.com board I bought via MSLR up here in BC, Canada.

If I can’t fix it, I will need to get a replacement mast/motor :frowning:

I’d feed some new wires through and solder, silicone, heat shrink the wire at the motor. That is what I did here. But had to design a different motor mount to make that work.

Thanks Bryce for that info and your photos. I’m thinking of doing the same.
