The price is great but I would be worried about the performance! Can it handle the amps we pull on an efoil (battery specs but also how they are connected)? Trying to save money on a battery pack can be risky/dangerous if it means buying products that will most likely underperform and/or are not genuine.
Did you have a chance to test the pack to see capacity and discharge rate meets the specs?
I not had time to do full capacity tests etc as i started to make a water proof box for the batteries.
I am coming to the order to make my 12s12p Sony VTC6 3000 mAh pack, and I would have liked your advice for the nickel strip section to order from Nkonā¦

Edit: I have not bought this - just passing on price and info. Iāve gone a down a different route with the Boston Swing Batteries (14 no. delivered to Ireland for $380 - 51.8V, 42Ah) as Iām using the MP70131 Motor and want to attempt to build-ish my battery (Its all part of it ā¦right??) & keep cost as low as possible plus I have the fear that I may need the extra OOMPF as Iām 85kg without adding anything else and I can add on modules for the battery if needs be. I have however asked if they will hold prices in case my mad notion collapses and they have agreed for 3 months!

The LG battery Cells come in a nice completed box with charger and whatever type of connectors you want. the Boston Batteries come in packs of 8 - ready made to 42Ah - youād then need to piece those 12/13/14 packs together in a configuration that youād like
are 80A and 120A not too less? Other guys tell up to 180A
If your interested, chat to her - the BMS takes more than 120A Peak and 80 Continous - they just have it set to that but its customisable - very helpful if you want to drop her a message.

Battery wise I would look for 200A peak and 100A constant. It will just mean the battery lasts longer.

Make a mock-up of the batteries and buy the real ones when you need them. You might find something better down the line.

Yes, you are right. But it is their smallest Box. I will put 2 Alu-String er in the bottom of eps of the Board. It is only 1,5 cm thickā¦

380$. For those Boston Swing cells are very good price. I am just worried if they are genuine and meet the septs. Dod you have a chance to cycle any of the cells to validate?
