Found the solution to this problem. I needed to turn off Phase Filtering. This thread was posted yesterday and had the solution in it: [VESC Setup Help Please!](https://foil.zone/t/vesc-setup-help-please/15776). Just posting this in case someone has the same problem in the future and finds this thread.
