Looks great! Is one of the end caps threaded for access to charge the battery? What phase connector is that? What did you use to glue the aluminum plate for the vesc heatsink?
Loks good, I like the idea with the tube, much easier to get waterproof than a square box. The contcts of your 3 phase motor connector seem a bit small, I’d go with something rated at least 60A better 100A.
Threaded cap to change battery in and out. Thermal paste for Ali heat sink and Sika 291 for around edges. Will test next week when I’m back from work

Think these plugs are rated to 50aps they are small but we’ve been using these for my mates 12s belt setups for a while now and they don’t get hot and seem to be holding up ok. I would like to make some plugs up like the ones used on the foil dash maybe mr60 may be the go. See how these go first

Hi Jonathon - I am trying out your MR60 plugs and can see you’ve put some time in! Better to ask questions here I guess in case others need the info. Can you let me know what 2 part epoxy you use to fill the plugs … special electronic potting stuff or something else?
I just use regular epoxy - seems to work absolutely fine

I’ve built a new backpack version in pipe and using the 150amp esc fully waterproof less issues with water egress risk. Will try two different cable setups straight and coil
And no battery won’t spin screw cap has nothing connected to it.
Haven’t tested yet just waiting on mate to get back from Exmouth so he can test his unit.

ESC is just stuck on the tube with SIKA or similar?.
