Flipsky is also available on AliExpress, but the common motor for foil assist is a 120KV model priced at $50.
By the way, this is the cheapest price I’ve found:

Hi, I have the Flipsky waterproof 6384 and I have a FD three blade propeller. As the holes in the FD propeller are 16mm apart, it is not possible to screw the prop to the motor. Are there any solutions like printing out an adapter disc or something? I was thinking of drilling and tapping 4 holes in the Flipsky, but I’m not sure if I can drill the holes accurately enough. Thanks for Ideas and help…

When using the foil assistant- is the small metal ring at the bottom of the waterproof Flipsky 6384 in place? I want to easily remove the outer shell of the motor (including the prop) to clean everything - but with the small metal ring I think it is a big hassle? Can I use the motor without this ring or is there a chance of losing the prop? Thanks for all the advices!

Why would you reverse? Unless you mean like placing the motor in front of the mast? But I don’t know anyone doing it…

When I fall off my board into the water, if the board is backwards, I use the reverse to get the board back instead of swimming to it myself, especially if it is far away.

Depends on the use case, many people use the shorter outrunners for assists with folding props, where reverse isn’t an option.

I bought one of those flipsky 6384, but have yet to test it.
but i drew an adaptator to put standard props for NoName Ali 6384, or a new prop to print directly for the flipsky. from volker’s one

I’ve also adapted @Strongarm Pod modified by @rttn for Axis Alu Mast to fit this Flipsky motor which has a flat base, but cables coming straight out, not perpendicular to the can. Do you set the remote up for e skate so you can use the reverse. Sounds like a good idea. I have had a long swim following my board down wind in surf.

Thanks for sharing this. Just curious what makes you feel the flat outer surface of the motor casing would make it less ideal than Saite 130kv? Im interested in trying one of these so am keen to hear any concerns beforehand

Hi guys, i recently bought a flipsky 6384 for a foil assist project, everything is done (battery, esc, electronic, box, propeller …) exept the POD. I have different brands mast in my quiver and want to switch easily from one to another , I can’t find a 3D print model for the flipsky, the one with a (soft) TPU part/insert in the midle of the pod to fit the differents mast and the straps for easy swaping …
I got one but it only fit regular 6384 and i don’t have the skill to modify it as my 3D printer carrier just start ^^
if someone got that, i will be happy … have a good day, thank’s.
