That’s a great question. From what I remember it has been addressed a couple times. I think in this thread. I remember Powerglider and I talked to someone about a problem they were having with the motor significantly heating up with no load. I wanted to know more at the time because I had no work around for it.

Zip: Here is the start of the conversation. It goes for several more entries. I never saw any problem like this but I was worried. Read my 2nd build. I am still riding that sometimes.
