Hi everyone, I’m ready to assemble gear for my toow boogie, I’ve bought flipsky vx3 controller, sqesc 12200 esc, 6384 motor but now I’m looking for a battery pack, someone will be kind to tell me if that battery pack will be good for that application?

Better find someone local that can build a custom 12S. battery or a 2x6S split pack from quality liion cells You can look in eskate or onewheel groups.

The flipsky remote is not waterproof. I had salt water in my screen after the first use. I complained and realised there’s only something like a month or 3 in warranty…
Flipsky states an IP67 rating which is brief immersion in less than a meter depth. They also recommend rinsing with fresh water after use in salt water.
Lots of posts here about how to modify the VX3 to improve its resistance to water intrusion.
Mine was never submerged more than 20cm. But when starting out for the first time I hit waves or spray with force and that probably did it. As you know there’s a lot to read, only after noticing a problem with the remote did i go down the rabbit hole of waterproofing a ‘waterproof’ remote
