About the v1 wing, I hope someone can help you, because there are many successful builds here. I’d be happy to advise you on the propeller, but you have to choose the motor first. I’d recommend the outrunner as a motor, but it requires some modifications. Most people here buy an inrunner because it doesn’t require any modifications. Choosing the right motor is where all the trouble and joy begins:-).
@Dynamik I would be very grateful for your advice in choosing a motor and controller. What is the best choice for today? Which one does not require tuning with shamanic dances? Which set is guaranteed to work? An option with alterations or modifications is also possible.
Did anyone in the foiling industry test a canard setup?
There is a build here with canard setup. I remember aluminum foils and yellow winglets but thats about it.
Sorry for necroposting, but you have really made my day!
I have built my own efoil and my own wing, but it turned out to be much more difficult to control than the same setup with the stock wing (rideengine manta 76).
So, I have added the upward facing winglets to my wing to increase stability, and got even worse results in terms of control and riding experience.
I studied airspace engineering one day and was totally staggered by the results I’ve got applying my aircraft design knowledge to the hydrofoils.
Your replies here have sorted everything out, thank you so much!
