Except it is not waterproof. Mine started taking on water (visible at the screen) almost right away and now it is completely dead. Very disapointed!
Even added silicone around the screen because I was afraid of water intrusion since other people wrote about it but water must have gotten in somewhere else.
So, you recognised there was a problem and you have attempted to fix it. Did you replace / refund all those who bought the previous version which had the problem?
I have an old version of this remote. It got stuck at 100% throttle, when I rebooted it, it was still at 100%. This took a few cycles, but eventually it reset.
Dangerous for a variety of situations. It seems not to be a spring issue as it still works fine. I had to pull the ESC wires to stop it. Alternative would be to turn it off or put it underwater
