New waterproof Alloy V+ESC Box

There is an antenna exit on the box. As I said if you have inflatable board, or CFK board it works fine. If there is water in between box and surface of the Board then you need the antenna extension;-)

Would it fit the Team Triforce ESC? https://teamtriforceuk.com/a200s-v2-1-last-units-no-heatsink/
This is one of the smaller ESCs that support >12S
I sent you an stl of the housing some days ago, but it can also be downloaded from their site.

Yes one can modify it that it will fit, and on next generation it will already have the threads to mount it directly;-)

Good to know, when will the next gen be available?

Looks awesome and great idea! I was tempted to mill an aluminum insert with mast mount on my next board that would go up in the board, but this looks much easier and better as far as cooling.

Probably too much of a pain to support all the mast mounts, but you could mill the mast mounts right in the bottom piece. And save me from having to buy another $75 slingshot mount

Here is another ESC that might be nice to support:

Havenā€™t had a lot of efoilers use it yet, but could be a good one. I plan on getting one soon.

Yes we thought of milling the mast mount directly into the bottom, but this would bring some disadvantagesā€¦
It would not be usable for different mast types (Our customers mostly use Liquid Force Mast, Slingshot and Moses, but here are other types to and it would not fit those. At the moment it even fits the Liftfoil mast
It would loose it`s modularity and Sealing is done between the mast plate and this ESC Box.

Yes this Hi200 ESC can fit as well size-wise, But we did not test it so farā€¦

Size of Go-FOC HI200/HI100: 112 x 73 x 36mm (including heat sink) according to makerx site.
Your box has (almost) an unlimited interior length along the 165mm plate axis, but what is the interior dimension of your box between the screws along the 90mm spacing ? 90 - 2 half screw diam - wall thickness = ?
How do you ensure the water tightness:
1 - between the box edges and its cover ?
2 - between the box cover and the board ?
3 - between cables and the box cover because the Go-FOC HI200/HI100 has six pairs of battery wires to pass through the coverā€¦ ? Not impossible but needs precision.

The Trampa 75/300 fits as well but all high power VESC only without there heatsinkā€¦ The box acts as heatsink itselfā€¦
It is sealed with EPDM seal and works great + you can use it as complete unit with mast on different boards or boats ot whereever you need an electric propeller unit

Just to make sure , we have to take a part the 75/300 to fit your box ? In that case I can see the plate for the fets , no worries for the caps ?
And if I may ask , easy mount even with the FR Ā« rigid Ā» wires

Yes you have to use the 75/300 without original heat sink, we have the similar shape inside the box as Trampa with same mounting screws. It is mounted same way as in trampa heatsink with thermal pads in between to dissipate the heat. And yes it works with the "rigid wires of FR as well.
However we recommend smaller VESC like VESC 6 as this power is well enough for efoiling, even if you use Maytech or Reacher Motorā€¦unless you weigh more than 110kg then we recommend the high power ones;-)

@ELEVATE.rocks Do you continue selling this box? Link to a web page where it can be bought?

It seems Foildrive picked up your idea with the alloy box on top of the mast and further put the batteries in it too! Actually this system is just perfectā€¦
Did you further developed it too?

Been a while since we did this alloy mast box in 2019 already  Makes us kind of proud that the idea has been picked up by foil driveā€¦ We donā€™t do it anymore but we forwarded the idea to others and we`re shure they will bring similar foil assist system in 2024 for under 3000$.
That is what we always wanted: a light, affordable and easy mount foil assist drive for every foiler. we believe this will increase the sports attention and growth for the next few years  So wait whats gonna come in 2024 regarding electric-foils

A "All in one " fuselage ?

An homonym in Sydney, Australia ? https://elevatefoils.com

Nah, instead Foil Drive took the idea and has tried to patent it as their own work to block other manufacturersā€¦

How is this attempt at the moment ? Elevate.rocks only accomodated the ESC in 2019. FoilDrive has succeeded in pushing the concept even further accomodating the battery in the box as well. Battery plus ESC above the mast was inconceivable four years ago, not to mention 14s1p. FoilDrive deserves some credit for that.
Do we know which ESC is used in the FoilDrive V2 ?

Well I think after Elevate did the box below board and above mast several others took this idea and based on that extended the box and accomodated batteries as wellā€¦ If you check current US patents then you will recognize Foil drive has a serious problem as another efoil brand already achieved a patent a while ago with a waterproof battery box just above the mast and below the board :face_with_hand_over_mouth:
So lets see how Foildrive guys think they can get a new patent on already patented stuff :face_with_peeking_eye:

Actually the entire idea was discussed here prior to foil drive. Iā€™ll give them credit that they designed a great product, but none of the idea is originally theirs. The original idea for a foil assist wasnt even theirs, it existed on endless sphere way back in 2017 at the same time lift created the original efoil. Their original temp patent was also only applied for 4 months after a complete example of an under board assist was already on this forum. Iā€™m sure someone is going to challenge the patent and hopefully it wonā€™t be awardedā€¦
