one thing about amazon Ă©poxy itâ is not for surf just good to wood gloss ⊠you need to buy it in a surf shop online or in a local shop to be sur of the qualitee what you need and for the carbon fiber be carefull lot of dealer sending it folded the fiber is delamined and not always in good states âŠthe fiber need to be rolling to arrived cleanâŠsome post speak about resine qualiteeâ:wink:

hello, if you want to use the amazon epoxi make sure to try it on test samples. it is a completely different quality than we use for laminating. ( sniper said the same.) As I said, you are welcome to call me or just visit me. I will be happy to show you carbon parts from the last 10 years that I have built. I have had very good experiences with the RG brand so far. you can get in Austria from Lindinger modellbau. And HP textiles from Germany. You can order there directly. Both companies have very good instructions for laminating, coating, etc. online.

for the final finish I recommend 2 k car clear coat. 1 kg including hardener costs about 15-20 euros. you can paint 3-4 boards with it. You can also sand the 2 k lacquer to get perfect results. after the complete drying, you can then polish to a high gloss. this is not really good with 1 k spray cans or not at all because it is too soft.

I not shaping ( at the moment ) a foilboard. I will use that year my prototype Mala Infltable.
So, i print a BOX in PLA with less% Infill and laminate theme wit CFK and Epoxy.
Same with my Akkubox, Mastclamps.
So, do you think i am still on the wrong way?

On the Website from Lindinger i see a lot of Epoxy, i dont know wich one is the right one.
I bought my CFK from PHP, i got informations from a guy, he also build a lot of PArts in the last years. He say to me that ist good. Also easy to work because it is âRutschfestâ
if it s just for that youy can use it and test it i use the bad qualitee epoxy for internal box who donât see waterđ
No, i want to be sure that i got no problems with the water. So i decide not use that epoxy now.

what is that multi pin connector? is it waterproof?
I use theme as balancing port for charging.
He have a black cap and when I am driving it is closed and not water is going inside.
