# SSL Certificate (by Let's Encrypt)

This forum’s webserver doesn’t use https encryption, which is a bit old fashioned in 2018 and doesn’t live up to its own high standards with it’s great community and content.
Many browsers mark unencrypted sites as insecure, including Google Chrome:

Through [Let’s Encrypt](https://letsencrypt.org) free SSL certificates are available, that can be configured in a minute for about any OS and webserver.

Done! We are SSL encrypted. The padlock should show up in all browsers now.
