I have been communicating with Flier in regards to updating their firmware as many of us here are having issues. Their solution for me was to use aeroplane firmware. But this isn’t a good solution for us all as a few of us have different model Fliers and different motor combinations.
I think it would be good if anyone else who is having problems with a clunking motor caused by a poor flier firmware to contact Flier and ask for a updated firmware as a solution. If they get a few of us contacting them, it will bring them to the realisation that they need to find a solution.
I have also requested the possibility of including in the update, to make the 3 seconds without signal cutoff feature user selectable and include 0.5 second’s. This would be added safety for those of us using a legrope to cut power to receiver when we fall. They have offered to make this feature available at a cost of $1000USD, which seems crazy high for what I believe is just changing some code.
