You’d need to calibrate the remote control in the VESC software. But you always want a ±5% deadband as some remotes jump around and are not always sitting at 0%

You can also change to “duty cycle” instead of “current” control

When setting the input, select Duty Cycle Control instead of Current (No Reverse)
