I used acrylic. Works good.

Aluminum boxes work good for the electronics.

It just barely fits. Total battery box thickness can’t be thicker then 3 1/4" (82.55mm).
And all of the Lift board hatches leak. It’s not designed to be a dry compartment, so the battery box and electronics enclosure must be very waterproof. I added a 3m tape secondary seal to the lid. That help it seal better.

I am looking for waterproof boxes. I have tried 4 different ones from Aliexpress so far, but none of them are waterproof. The test was: fill the box with weights and then immerse it in a bucket of water. After about 10 minutes there is water in it.
I am looking for a box for my E-Foil project and a box for my Seascooter. The Seascooter will of course be underwater more often. Is pelican the only manufacturer whose boxes are really waterproof? (submersible up to 1m for max. 30min?)

I 3D printed one the sides are 4 pieces printed in PETG that slide together and the top and bottom are ABS sheets from amazon glued on with Marine Goop. The box can hold water indefinitely without leaking, You can make it to any size you want basically. I don’t have pictures on this computer but I can get one if you’re interested.

This is what it looks like one box with BMS inside and one with water inside to test it.
The bottom is a 300x300 3mm ABS sheet from Amazon and the top is 1.5mm I had to keep the height under 80mm for the Fliteboad board internal compartment.
