10 ct Gong v2 Mast Clamp (63100 + 651xx)

I know there are quite a few designs, variations, versions … after countless modifications I’m sharing my clamp design for mounting a Flipsky 65121 (or similar) or a 63100 to a Gong v2 mast: simple yet strong. I call it the “10 ct clamp” because an important part of it is a coin: a 10 ct Euro, a Dime or anything around 20 x 2 mm will fit. It withstands all the force, the plastic just holds everything in place.

Apart from a 3d printer, you will also need (63100):

  • 4x rods length 140 x 4 mm
  • 4x M4 nuts + 4x M4 self-locking nuts
  • 2 screws for wood / self drilling, 12 x 2 mm
  • a clamp made of metal sheet

Or analogue for 651xx:

  • 4x rods length 140 x 5 mm
  • 4x M5 nuts + 4x M5 self-locking nuts
  • 2 screws for wood / self drilling, 12 x 2 mm
  • a clamp made of metal sheet

All stainless steel of course. I’ll let the images speak for themselfs. If you have questions, let me know. Here (63100) and here (651xx) are the 3d-files along with detailed description how to mount. I have used 0.7 mm metal sheet, this is more than strong enough and still can be cut, drilled and bent as needed by hand.

Just what I’ve been looking for my planned 63100 build! As you said there are a few designs, but the clamping with the coin is a clever idea to get things very tight without risking breaking the print, and keeping print size low. Another great feature is ample room for cabling and connectors. Well done!
