No, I haven’t ever bothered designing one…
That Chinese motor appears to be machined to accept a prop designed for a 4hp Yamaha outboard (7 1/2 x 7) . Some members here have had good luck with that prop and the 65162 motor. That Yamaha prop can also be easily modified to mount to the standard 65162 motor from flipsky or maytech. The flipsky/maytech option definitely gives more prop options, but that Chinese motor appears to be set up to accept a prop that will work.
yes i orderd the flispky version one. Thanks thoug!
HGLTECH also sells the Flipsky motor so I think I will get get my Flipsky motor from them and take advantage of the 20% off ESC.
The seal 300a ESC doesn’t have a BEC though. Will the Maytech V2 remote need that? Or does Flipsky make a version that has a built in BEC?
Also, will I need a thrust bearing with this motor?
Did you find a Duct for the Mayteh 65162 motor?
