I 3d printed mast clamps for axis 19mm aluminum mast to mount my 65161 or 65220 motors
Since this mast is symmetrical, I made sure all the holes are big enough so I don’t have to desolder connectors to flip the mast.
This way I can use it like foil drive foil assist and surf waves , or I can flip the mast , reroute wires out the other end and ride it like an efoil.
I used 316 threaded rods for the 4 motor mounts bolts and loctited them into the 65220 motor.
My question is does this motor need to be supported at the rear also or should the clamp bracket be enough?
