Larsb, Perhaps, you should flip the motor upside down and turn it into the snow foil for the winter and put it back to it original configuration for the water foil… some one may have thought about this and working on it already!
In the west coast we have to drive 3 to 6 hrs high into the mountain to snow boarding, etc.
How does the motor get assembled? There are no labor costs involved?

It makes sense to do a short trial with each motor before shipping them out, if there needs to be some corrections by manufacturer it’s better to know before adding even more shipping expenses.

I will try. But I can’t promise. I’m currently spending about 12 hours at work and my 3 year old daughter has stomach ake that doesn’t want to go away… And I want to run a vesc detection on aļl of them before shipping…
Ok so finally I started testing the motors. So far they are all identical and can run on the same vesc detection. The actual Kv is 98.
What is meant by ”better” in this test?
slightly lower resistance and slightly higher VESC current rating
Is somebody driving with this motor already?
Not yet. I’ll pick it up today, then test kV and phase resistance and inductance. It will take a while before it’s built into a working setup.
