Alternative Waterproof Connectors

Does anyone have any experience using these waterproof Anderson connectors? They are a fraction of the price of some of the Amphenol connectors and they seem pretty decent. They can handle plenty of power for most of us. And they should be crimpable at home with fairly cheap tools.

Are you building a battery?

Just to summarize:
135A
2 Power + 4 signal

price at least $16 + $16

Thanks for the summary. Im planning to get one made for me but I will do my own connectors to avoid waiting weeks while the factory waits on connectors. I don’t think there is any chance I can crimp a surlok at home without some pricey tools.

Didn’t check a drawing for this one but the higher power andersons are often huge, might be a good idea to see if it fits your build.

How is the total current measured? Is it 140A because each of the two power contacts carries 70A? Is that just clever marketing?

no, anderson connectors are good. but huge. I ran a 100A one on my ebike for some years
