I am wondering how I could machine it to get a large flat spot for heat transfer to a metal plate instead of using the pipes. So if anyone has a broken one and could tell me how it looks on the inside, that would be nice.

I am sorry for your loss but thanks for the pictures. Looks like I could just machine the top of the cooler flat and attach it to my waterproof aluminium housing. Then I won’t need a pump. I ordered one from TFL-Hobby Shop in Germany. Hopefully its an original.
