I am tempted to create a DIY assisted foil. I am all ears as for recommendations for the board, motor, and ESN. Any links for 3D for the motor mount? The build objective is to help me learn pump foiling and, maybe, wing foiling later. As I do not need much power (small battery), I envision a small box on the top of a commercial unpowered board.
Thanks. I completed dry test with 6384 and 75200 Pro and printed an adapter. S_Roger helped me a lot. We will see performance on water shortly. Now I want to 3D print PLA mast to use as a scaffold for carbon fiber. I am also curious about wings. I will try to convert available model to mold.
I am going to print PLA mast segments and glue them together. Load epoxy filler through the cuts on the sides. Let it dry and dress in carbon fiber. Any comments? It is a great time for feedback. My first time. I have another question. I see 3d printed props. It seems to me that it would be better to print a mold and form a prop from quality composites. Tx
