I just wanted to start a topic about what batteries people where using on their builds to make it easier for people, like my self, to decide which battery will be best for their setup. I was thinking keep this topic fairly simple and organized with a basic layout for responses.

Has anyone considered the batteries that power professional trimmers and other yard tools? They seem to be fairly large in size and well protected.

I tried one once but it has some protection circuit that stops it from delivering any current if not plugged into a machine.
