Best seal for battery and vesc case?

I bought a “waterproof” case from aliexpress which perfectly fits the 14s5p battery and 75100 vesc but it is in fact not waterproof as it came without a seal.

I got a 3mm round NBR seal which fits tightly in the groove but still not waterproof. Maybe a silicone/rubber seal would be better with a bit less diammeter?

I would try pouring in place a 2 part silicone to make the seal.

The case does look a little flimsy though, so not sure how it will go.

Strongarm is spot on. ps you can use a dispensor and mixing pen.
