Just one question, is the black cable a temperature sensor or even timing?

You are right, this cable is temperature sensor. Because it’s custom industrial edition, not standart one, it equipped with the sensor. You can also notice that the diameter of the water cooling is not standart, also increased - for better heat sink. Moreover, it has special ceramic bearings for smooth long-life operation.
And yes, I agree that it’s probably the best motor in the market, especially in this version.

70mm diametre is not far from the 65mm one used for efoils.
Looks tailored for a esurf, is it possible to mount a propeller on the (rotating) bell though ?
The motor does 20 000 RPM! I think it is a bit of an overkill for an efoil.

Yes, you are right, if necessary, an air propeller can be attached to the spinning rotor for cooling. There is a mounting screw for this.

The motor develops its power starting at 12,000 RPM, so it can be used in any application. It is usually difficult to reach the maximum RPM under a good load.
