Any chance you can try to follow a tutorial “how to install Arduino with ESP32 framework”? Not that you need Arduino but that should get you started on all the needed drivers and tools on the Mac?
BREmote V2 needs (similar to V1) the CH340 drivers
They should come with a normal Arduino install, at least on windows they do
OK! I figure it out. To get it to work on a newer Mac, you have to restart your computer and change the security settings in a special mode before you turn your computer on. When you reduced the security settings, you can then get the driver to install and work. Then put the settings back to original after you get it to work.

I used to have 2 may tech remotes. I swapped out the RX and it does make a beep when i connect it, but nothing happens when i press the throttle. any ideas?
it makes 4 out of the 5 needed beeps. but this is it. i can’t get it to throttle.
Please check the manual of your ESC what the beeps mean, then we can try to find a solution
ok. it works now! but it seems like the motors spin with less power then the other remote from V1 or may tech remote. any have this issue?
I cannot upload the Bremote Tx calibration for my old bremote v1, the remote keeps shutting off when I try. Any suggestions?
Hey,
It’s normal the remote shuts off (display) and only talks to you in the serial monitor
Bit of a delay decided to run wires internally in boogie to reduce moisture.
I done a bit of elimination onto why I’m only getting connection to one esc. After disconnecting Bec and running power to it both B1 and B0 are getting 5v but once I connected back to Rx B0 has 5v but B1 does not receive 5v what could be issue here Ludwig?
Thanks Astan
Sounds like your BEC has an issue, if it can’t output 5V with a load attached?
I thought the Bec is supposed to put out 5v ,
Because its only B1 that is not getting power?
All sorted with a spare Rx and the help from a friend Mick.
Two questions Ludwig how do I have two remotes connected to the one boogie? Plus is there a better option for springs for Bremote v2 mine seems to stick a lot and I would like to add a stronger resistance spring?
Astan
Please note this is the wrong topic, this is BREmote V1, you are asking about BREmote V2
Yes, 2 remotes can be connected to 1 boogie, but only one remote is allowed to be turned on at the same time
Set up and pair 1st remote
Set up and pair 2nd remote
Send me ?conf string of both remotes and the Rx, I will send you back the strings with all 3 paired
Regarding spring, if it sticks, you can try to sand it a little flatter, tighten the screw less, or change to any other spring you can find.
So how do I upload the files if it turns off??
Even if the display turns off, the remote should stay connected via USB?
How do I re upload the files if it keeps shutting off?
Are you following the video at 41:23 minutes?
Maybe make a video and send me as private message of your exact problem and how the remote is behaving?
It seems like Arduino can not open the com port… Make sure you actually selected the correct port (unplug remote, needs to be gone from the list, plug in again, needs to reappear)
Sometimes other programs can block the port as well, make sure to close all other applications, especially like 3D printer software.
