hello, I bought sabo efoil board from alibaba and it has been working great until yesterday I played (adjusting throttle sensitiviy, changed mph to kme, etc) with the remote which is flipsky vx3.
and went to played at the lake. after 30 minutes or so I came back to shore and I heard constant 2 beeping nosie from the motor. So I flipped the board upside down (mast up) and saw the prop jerking when beeping. So I went out to ride again and felt the power dropped significantly like 50%.
Anyone familiar with that beeping noise? low battery? esc and remote not synced well? I thought when I played with the remote , I went to pair otion screen and might went to paring mode without turning on the board and then quit.
thank you for all the help.
Not sure exactly what is happening, but if you have your VX3 in “L” throttle mode and you’ve run your battery down enough this could happen. I’ve had trouble getting on foil when I have a Vx3 in L mode, I usually have it in “M” throttle mode. VX3 would give you a low voltage warning if it has been setup to get main battery voltage, but no idea what your Ali board is using.
The power has dropped because you accidentally switched the remote control to low power mode.
I hate the flipsky remote for this.
after I came back to shore , I turned of the remote and set to high gear, it was still slow like low battery and the motor kept on beeping but the battery was still at 50%.
I came back to the house and charged the battery full and clean all the contact in the board and the mast. next morning I connect everything and tested in my house , no more beeping and the power seemed back to normal.
This usually happened after I played for a while sometimes 40 minutes or about one house then the beeping came.
Also the battery tray is full of water and the manufacturer confirmed it is normal because everything is waterproof and use the water to cool down the battery.
They asked me to re pair the remote to the board again and told me that beeping was.from the esc looking for signal of the remote.
