Hello to everyone.

I am from Croatia. I started my work a year and a half ago. The plan is to do everything by myself.

Specs:
Battery pack: Li-ion 14S 45Ah
Motor: Flipsky 65161 120KV
Board: Custom
Wings: Custom
Mast: Custom
Fuselage: Custom

I started with the battery pack. It is made of Samsung 21700 battery cells connected in a 14s 9p battery pack.

Made boxes from epoxy resin and fiberglass for battery pack and esc.

Painted in black.

Sealing made with liquid rubber for casting. On both boxes.

Plexiglas cover.

Completed boxes with all components.

Electronic connected and tested. Everything works great.

Then I started working on the motor case. It’s unnecessary but I want it for better water protection.

Weld it and mechanically processed to finish.

MAST:
Then I started working on the mast. The mold is CNC milled and sanded into shape.

A lot of sanding to the desired surface.

The mold is finished. It’s time to make the mast.
For the mast I used 200g carbon in 5 layers.

The opening was challenging, but it went well.

After all the trimming.

Painted black.

BOARD:
Dimensions: 1630x710mm

I started with two blocks glued together.

During the milling process, 3 milling cutters were slaughtered.

Glued bottom.

Ready to lamination.

After a lot of filling and sanding.

Painted in white.

The wings are 3D printed.
Front wing: 1300cm2
Back wing 300cm2

Nice build
One comment to your battery pack.
Next time better first weld the serial Connection between the rows, as there the power goes through. On top then the parallel connection.
Also better take the Ni band with the little slit. Better for welding as the welding current Must Go through the battery pole.

I hope that you get not bored too quick by this big sized board. In my opinion 120x60cm @~65l is also for a beginner a good size that has potential for some sporty foiling

As for the board, I’m planning on getting a smaller board for next year.

What’s the length of the board?

I have:

5’6" (6kg) Custom
4’9" (11kg) Lift
4’2" (10kg) Lift
100cm (haven’t efoiled it just yet)

But the best board by an absolute mile is the 5’6". The length is not the issue, its the weight of the board that really matters. The 5’6 gets up faster, and is way easier to turn because of the weight.

The board is 165 cm long and weighs 13 kg. Much of the weight falls on the cover because it is made of compact material.
