Next time better first weld the serial Connection between the rows, as there the power goes through. On top then the parallel connection.
Also better take the Ni band with the little slit. Better for welding as the welding current Must Go through the battery pole.
I hope that you get not bored too quick by this big sized board. In my opinion 120x60cm @~65l is also for a beginner a good size that has potential for some sporty foiling

But the best board by an absolute mile is the 5’6". The length is not the issue, its the weight of the board that really matters. The 5’6 gets up faster, and is way easier to turn because of the weight.
