DIY RIDEABLE tow boogie build suggestions

Hello All,

I’m hoping someone here can help me!
For a while now I have been researching motors and props on flipsky and maytech as well as sifting through the wealth of knowledge on this forum. I would like to build what basically amounts to a rideable diy tow boogie, minus the towing. I’d like to use it to explore some lakes in my area that are inaccessible on foot. The “boogie” portion would be quite a bit larger then an actually boogie to help with floatation and stability while being made of very light composite. Can anyone suggest a motor, esc and prop combination that would work well in this configuration. I was hoping for top speed of 15mph, and while cruising getting about 2hr run time to actually get some range at say 10mph. I was considering the thruster kit from flipksy as it has a 6kw motor and built in esc. Does anyone have experience with this kit? If so what kind of performance can I expect? Should I get an upgraded prop? Are there any other motor, prop, esc combinations that anyone can suggest? Please help and old man have some adventure!

Did you see this thread? Similar concept. Would work with a smaller 230cm boat (available with v hull)
