Does a flip sky vx3 pro receiver have any lights when working?

I finally got my setup working and in the water yesterday and it had looked like my battery had died very quickly. After charging and plugging everything back in the remote won’t pair. It turns on and the motor beeps when plugged in. I have no lights on the remotes receiver so I’m thinking maybe that is the issue? Can someone please confirm if the receiver should have a light on? everything is second hand.

thanks, I re soldered a couple of wires so now I get the blue light blinking, my remote is probably the issue, new one on the way
