So, have just run VESC wizard on a twin jet surfboard.
The issue is that the motors maxed out at 60 amps where they are capable of 200 amps. So, do you need to run the VESC wizard when you are pumping water to get the real current?
What do you efoil people do?
No physical resistance = no torque needed = no current needed. Noload current of any bldc motor is only a few amps.
VESC parameter identification should be done with minimal resistance but any logging attempts need a proper load like propeller in water.
