Good morning everyone, I read a fairly old post about battery choices, but it dates back to 2022. Let’s say that battery technology is changing in 2025, almost 2026, and there are new types, including the new LIFEPO4 C4 3.2V 20Ah cans, weighing approximately 340 grams; these would be enough to make a 16S 2P 32-cell pack.

Have any of you tried these batteries? What do you weigh? They’re simple to make, have low recharging, don’t explode, and have a very long life.

I haven’t tried these ones but I had LiPo before in one my eBike they are good batteries. It will probably work but generally LiPo have a lower energy density versus Lithium Ion this is why everyone uses Lithium Ion you get a smaller battery with less weight.
