I’m newbie working to fuel my FS DC 6384 + FSESC 75200.
I have a spare battery from an ebike. it’s brand new. 48V 13s4p. no idea about BMS or cell specs.
is it a very bad idea to buy another battery (with same 48V 13s4p) and go parallel to fuel the motor? or maybe 2 batteries more?
or should I directly buy a new battery more suita ble to e-foil duty??
Thanks for every suggestion
Better get a battery you know the specs so you are sure it can deliver enough current. One with charge only BMS is sufficient.
It is unlikely it has enough peak current. Ebikes do not require the peak efoils require but just good capacity for weight.
I can ride with 12s6p with samsung 30q cells that have peak discharge of 15amps. Typically you want to have 100amps at least to start. Once on foil you need much less in the 20-30amp range.
it seems better to buy directly a new one… is there a prebuild battery that i can go for? or is it much better to go trought the building process (buying cells, welding…)?
I’d go for a good prebuild, if someone has a suggestion of good battery I’ll be very thankful ![]()
You could check out amorge power for a custom battery
Amorge looks good and you can customize the cells.
They also answer quickly via whatsapp.
Unfortunately shipping costs to Europe seems very high like 130€ or more also for the slow methods. Thank you anyway
Where are you located in Europe? Check the DIY battery pageson facebook, or the DIY500 page on facebook. Just post and ask for a local person.
