Efoil assist - Rotor does not separate from stator

Hello,
I would like to separate the rotor from the stator for the first time after a treadmill run. I removed the locking ring and the washers. However, I can only pull off the motor by about 1cm. Then it somehow clicks into place. It definitely won’t go any further out. Even WD 40 doesn’t help. Does anyone know this problem?
I would be grateful for a tip.

Best regards

Frank

Dear rttn,

thank you very much for the link.

But this motor is brand new. I just tested it in a water bucket. So normally the motor must come out much more easeliy. Or does it often happen that the rotor cannot be released, even when the motor is brand new?

Best regards

Frank

There may be several reasons. For example, a slightly riveted shaft, or a bearing crookedly seated in the seat, or you have strong magnets). Just use the tool.

Dear rttn,

now it works. Maybe one night with WD40 was helpful - even for a new motor.

The motor-rotor-puller should be useful for the future. I should find someone, who could print it for me.

Thank you and best regards
