Hi. I am an efoiler. Have about 500km on mostly flat water under the belt. I own a 5m wing, a SUP with a sidewinder dagger board and (here comes the bad idea) a broken Takuma Carver 2 efoil that I don’t think will ever work again. I efoil with my Fliteboard now.
My plan is to learn to wing foil on the SUP then to take all the electronics, battery etc out of the Carver 2. Fill the cavity with foam and attach a wing foil mast and wingset to the carver 2. 120l board. I weigh 85kg. Is this a good plan?
That might work but personally I would fix the Takuma with generic components and get a used wing board. Wingners all start on bigger board and they downsize when they get better tons of used board for sale really cheap. An efoil board with a sealed waterproof compartment is really hard to build and valuable I would not destroy one. A wing board is just a block of foam much less valuable IMO.

Appreciate the advice. May do that. Am trying one last ditch effort to fix the Takuma. Ordering a Flipsky remote.
