Electrical Problems

You have to put phase filters on false for the 75100. It might damage your vesc. Maybe that’s causing the problem?

Also it seems you have the wrong firmware installed for 75300 instead 75100.

Follow this tutorial on how to install the correct firmware:

After reinstalling the correct firmware, check the phase filters again and put it on false. Unfortunately the default value is true.

PS: You would have known all of that if you would have watched the tutorial DutchFoiler posted a few days ago. Also Flipsky warns you in big letters on the manuals to not update the firmware or least to be cautious with that and that you have to disable phase filters.

It always shows 75300. Same for my 75200.
But yes, he should definitely watch the video.

Ah okay, on the MKS 75100 it shows the correct name and also the firmware update was correct. So just need to be cautious with updating Flipsky I guess.

In case you have not updated the firmware yet / you have the factory firmware still on the vesc then ignore the tutorial on how to update it.

Are you testing it in the water or out of the water?

Thomas.

What version of 75100 do you have?
Not all 75100 Flipsky VESC’s are supposed to run the 75_300 firmware!

VX3 does not support throttle via UART (VX3 Pro does). It only supports PPM. Change VESC to use UART and PPM.

I have VX3 (not pro) running via UART. The docs say it can be connected via UART:

I have the Makerspace 75100 V2. There the name of the VESC was already setup correctly from factory and the correct firmware update is pulled.
