FelixRemote crashed (hanging at blue screen)

Anyone here who might know how to powerdown a hanging / crashed FelixRemote?
The one here is stuck at a “blue” screen.
Holding the powerbutton does nothing :frowning:

yes, may sound idiot but put in the fridge. It will cool the remote down. I did it as I had an old firmware version and it worked.

Its in the fridge now. Fingers crossed.

I was doing the battery setup within the remote, and after saving the settings, the remote was going todo a restart.

Sol1- If you’re not in a hurry, leave it discharge below 3.2V wich should take less than 24hrs as there is no sleep mode anymore. It will disconnect and trigger the same effect as Sol2 herebelow
Sol2- If you’re short of time and the remote is out of warranty, this IS a sacrilege but, unscrew the 11 screws of the top surface and … disconnect the battery… to give it a chance… ? :smiling_imp: Then you have to restore the waterproofness that makes me think the best solution is Sol1

There must be a key combination from @Felixfoiler though …

No hurry here.

  1. It’s raining cats and dogs, and we have a weather alarm at this moment.
  2. I have torn my ACL last winter, and the physiotherapist told me definitely no eFoiling this year/season. (I am 15 years, and do not want to blow my knee again so I will listen to him)

Will keep you updated about the remote when I have more info.

Yes. This morning the remote was off (and cold).
After putting a little charge in it, it turned on fine.

Now all it needs is the battery bug fix, and the remote will be better than perfect.

Sorry for the late reply.

We never encountered that issue with newer generations before. Please let us know if it happens again and we will take a look at it.

Best regards

Felix. What about the battery bug I’ve PM’ed you about ?
Can you please have a look at it?
It’s not only with my remote, but all we tested here.
