FeRo (New Remote Controle Coming Soon)

Look, I’m not interested in getting in a pissing contest nor am I slating the remote.
As for the maytech comment I was referring to my setup, and for obvious reasons its better with the receiver being higher up the board.

And I agree with you that the receiver in the carbon electronics box is a shit location but thats pretty common practice, and I also agree that yours has a further range but all I need is a few foot.
Like I said I’m just a little disappointed is all as I expected it to work flawlessly given your comments in this thread.

Look, I’ll make an extension for the COMM cable and put it in the front of the board and I’m sure it will work fine.

Cheers, Dan

Hi Ward.

We want to keep you happy and provide excellent support for this product.

The two posts you indicated, have been posted at the very beginning of the development which is now over 1 year ago.

It’s stated multiple times on the website that it uses 2,4gHz now. We describe in the manual that the receiver cannot be placed in an aluminium box and keep it distanced from carbon fibre.

We used 433mhz at the very beginning because it would penetrate carbon and water even better. However, in some countries, 433mhz is not legal and therefore for us a big enough reason to drop this frequency.

However, neither of that will satisfy you so we will offer you a refund for your remote and please you to return it.

Best regards
Team FeRo

Hello Felix,

will the remote again be available in your shop?

Just a quick question. The + and - are they used to set a max speed (like the waydoo)? Currently I have a trigger that I just control 0-100% and I prefer that.

Can’t wait to buy one and retire the maytech!
