Hey guys, @HPC what’s your feedback on your Firduo VESC in the kit?
Firduo FD75200 VESC is sold as waterproof, did someone get any problem from the waterproofing? What waterproof connectors did you choose on the power cables and data cables?

Hello Flo98, I burnt the motor, overheated. probably my fault I designed a mounting sleeve that reduced passive cooling
oh sorry for your loss:( i see if it’s 3dprinting, it may reduce cooling of the motor… Do you still use the Firduo VESC? Is it waterproof?
Vesc still runs fine. No pb with water since I filled it with corrosion x.
you opened the VESC box and filled it with corrosionX?
it’s written on their website it’s already waterproof if we can trust it 
(except the end of cables where i should do waterproof connectors or waterproof glue for the wires i don’t use)
Yes I filled it from the USB hatch. It is sealed properly from factory but I didn’t trust on the long run the sealing of the cables coming out of the housing. you don’t really need to do so if your vesc is in a dry compartment of your board but at that time i was testing a “wet” setup under the board. good luck with your setup.
