First Build Advice- 6384 and Maytech setup

Setup sanity check before I buy

I’ve been researching this for about 12 months and think I’ve finally got my setup, but would really appreciate a sanity check before I order everything.

Setup:

  • Controller: Maytech V3 Remote — £119.79
  • Motor: 6384 120KV BLDC — £53.79
  • Prop: 4.8" 2-blade folding aluminium — £37.89
  • ESC: N33R-SEQURE 14200, 200A, 5–14S — £91
  • Batteries: 2 × Turnigy 10,000mAh 6S 22.2V 40C QS8 — £72.11 each
  • BEC: UBEC 2S–12S — £3.70

The plan is to run this on my 115L downwind board, initially with the batteries mounted on the board. Once tested, I may look at converting it into a backpack setup.

The foil is a GONG Foil Front Wing Curve H V3 FG, size L.

Before I pull the trigger: does this all look sensible/compatible for this wing and board, or am I missing anything important?

Particularly interested in motor/prop/ESC/battery sizing and anything obvious I should change.

I’ve read a lot on here and watched videos for the last year, so I’m keen to get this right before spending the money. Thanks!
