First build, partial fail

Hello guys, this is my first post (I use the translator to write, so be patient …). Yesterday I tried my first efoil in the water by copying the various solutions read here in the forum.
Maytech 65161 engine, modified Flite propeller, ARC200 esc (thanks MaB) and 2 x 20Ah 6s lipo batteries in series (so 20Ah 12s).
100 liter wing board, Axis 1060 foil (1840 cm ^ 2) and the usual watertight case at the stern, fixed to the rear straps by a strap.
At full throttle I struggled to get up on the foil, then it went. But it lacked power. Maximum speed: 11 knots, maximum current absorbed during the take-off phase: 27A !!! When I went to the foil, 15A.
When out of the water, the engine reaches 4700rpm. From the log I can see that in the water it was at most 2000rpm
Could it be that the ESC is not programmed correctly? It is set in speed mode and not in torque mode.

Try torque mode that should work much better. I had used arc200 as well. I tried speed mode and but it didn’t work easily.
