I get this intermittent error message altho the motor.is running fine. Setup is flipsky vx3 with maytech 6374 motor and 36v 10s battery pack with a waterproof ztw esc. Anyone know why this error is popping up intermittently?
Have you configured the number of cels of your battery, in the remote? If it defaults to 12S it would think you‘re running out of battery. You need to set ot to 10S.
Ok thanks. Let me check. My friend setup the remote so i will see what its setup for.
so its a 36v 10ah battery. And looking at the remote setup it is set for 10 cells. Should I try lowering that value?
No if it is set to 10S, that is ok. Maybe a bad contact of the wire from the battery to the reveiver.
Ok thanks. I will clean up the contacts and try everything again
I did my first build and had this problem as well just connecting the electronics, I changed the battery size in VESC Tool but not the remote, and it persisted without the motor turning.
The positive battery wire from receiver was connected, would that make a difference.
I then destroyed the ESC by shorting my temp battery cable solder, so wasn’t able to resolve.
I searched but couldn’t get a good reason, but it appears to be be entering wrong pole or cell numbers.
I have a foil drive assist plus gen 1 battery, 28.8v 12.6 AH, could someone confirm this is a 11s3p and the correct values would be 3 pole and 33 cells.
