Hello, I’m having trouble setting up my new Flipsky VESC 6.8 Mini Plus. I can’t get the same performance as with my VESC 75100 V2 Pro. I don’t have a torque problem, but as soon as I’m foiling, I lose torque when the motor re-enters the water. My settings are the same: 60 amp battery, 130 amp motor current, 155 amp absolute max; FOC settings are also the same. I think this VESC is ultimately less efficient and shows shortcomings in e-foiling; but before ordering another 75100, I’d like some advice. Thank you.
If it is still the version with “normal” PCB (not Aluminum) and cooling the FETs through their black plastic housing… That’s likely the problem, massive overheating even at low loads
