Yea unfortunately im a big lad so its more about keeping the current down for me. Are you going to have some sort of external heat sink? My first approach was to have the esc mounted inside but I wanted some external cooling so thought I would put the esc’s claimed waterproofing to the test.
I’m still throwing ideas around.
I do really like the idea of external esc. Partially because I’ve seen a lot of escs blow up and don’t really want the battery to go too. 
Yea 600 - 1000 degree fire on my back scares me haha.
I got in touch with the Peli sales rep for the R60 3D model… Got told that you need an NDA… When they already have 80%+ of their products with 3D models readily available for everyone to use…
Ended up selecting a CamdenBoss (CHDX-326C) as it is made of ABS and has more usable space for the same footprint. Plan is now to use 14S3P vs 12S4P (I’m a big lad too), no BMS, with a Sequre WP14200 stuck outside.
Yup pelican told me the same. Interesting choosing the ABS over the polycarbonate. Is that due to wanting good adhesion? If its going into a belt rig I guess it will be covered so UV wont do much damage.
Yup, I went for ABS so I can “glue” 3d printed ABS parts to hold the esc and wires or even latches protection…
My only concern is finding a neoprene cover big enough now…
