What’s your motor current set at? That or battery limit could both limit your power.

Motor current is set at 150A.

Settings uploaded below. All help greatly appreciated!

I don’t see any error on settings … body position and foil maybe ?

What size is your front wing? It doesn’t look that big on your picture.

I think it’s a Ride Engine Futura 2018 Wing. I got it on Mac Kiteboarding
Apparently modeled around a slingshot: Review
I think the front wing is actually a Colugo and 68cm sounds about right but I can double check tomorrow.

Oh too much body weight haha

my first set up 2 years ago on 8s with 40mm geared motor and 2,40m sup, takuma v100 foil, 130kg all wet : no problem ( 250A pics through straight out no planning)

Maybe I’ll blame the weather! It’s bad here now until maybe the weekend. Will try again then

Redid the cables anyway so it looks a bit better now.
Haven’t managed to get out just yet with weather to try above suggestions :crossed_fingers:

Additional photos, its just gorilla tape and I redid the front nozzle so not too bad. Also managed to run it in a bin today some interesting errors! I’m getting an abs over current at 165A but I’ve it set to 185A. Also on the vesc tool logs motor current only ever hits max of 149.78A. Battery in current only hits 120.58A max. Anyone any idea why?

This is from last week when I could get on foil.

First Outing - Fail

Next video is from today with foil in a bucket of water. If I go from 0 to full on I get an Abs Overcurrent at 165A but the log from the VESC Tool never gets above 149A.

ABS Overcurrent
This is the error going from 0 to full
VESC Tool Log File Efoil in Bucket 19-9-21

And this is a longer video of Efoil in Bucket but ramping slow and no abs limit. I hit 3000W at times - I think this should be enough to get foiling. Any tips greatly appreciated!
VESC Tool Screen Record in Bucket

Sorted my ABS Overcurrent by increasing to 420A. Not happy about that setting so will gradually lower but it works.
When I increased to this though I blew my prop within 2 tries

Anyone have any experience with this happening?

You should hit these two check boxes:

Thanks! When I get a replacement prop I will put my limits back and try those boxes!

Fill the voids( all of them equally) with JB Weld, its possible you can use the propeller again, at least for some time.

Thanks! I’ll def try that

Does anyone know how to connect the maytec remote to the flipsky fsesc? Can’t find wiring diagram on forum through search function
