I’m selling my custom DIY eFoil project. This is not a production board and not a plug-and-play commercial kit. It is a fully self-built setup based on a custom board, foil hardware, Flipsky drivetrain components, DIY battery and custom electronics.
Reason for selling:
I’m a engineer and will be moving back to Germany. Since this is a self-built DIY eFoil and not approved/registered for operation in Germany, I unfortunately cannot take it with me.
I built this eFoil during the last years as a hobby project while I was on my assignment in the US. The complete setup was designed in Fusion 360. CAD data / Fusion 360 files can be provided to the buyer on request.
The board was originally built with a Flipsky 65161 motor and matching external ESC setup with water cooling integrated in the board. Last year, I upgraded the drivetrain to a newer Flipsky 65220 motor with integrated ESC. Both motor/ESC setups are included in the package. The remote works with both setups.
The eFoil has only been used in freshwater and has not been used in saltwater.
The project is technically functional, has no known issues and has around 15 operating hours on it. It should still be considered a DIY build for someone with eFoil / VESC / battery / composite experience. I would prefer to sell it to someone who understands what they are buying and is comfortable inspecting, maintaining and modifying a DIY electric hydrofoil setup.

Performance from my testing:
- Ride time: easily over 1 hour on one charge, depending on rider weight, wing, prop, speed and water conditions
- Top speed reached so far: 20 mph
- Performance may vary depending on setup and conditions
