Getfoil parts for DIY

Hello Foil zone family,
I’m thinking the components from these boards can help someone build their own efoil.
I have 4 getfoil boards available for $750 each, was selling for $1500. Board only. No electronics.

Also have the masts and assortment of wing options ($250 per wing) for each of these boards, no ESC, but the motors work. $500 for each mast/motor $250 for just the mast.
If you have the battery build knowledge and the esc/remote knowledge to add to these components then this might be right for you.

Thanks
Daniel

What do these boards weigh? What size are they?

The pictured one above appears to be the larger second generation board (with a less pointy nose shape). They are 5ft 8in long and 80L of displacement.

To anyone thinking about picking one of these up as a project, the original wings from the Chinese supplier can still be found on Alibaba (though Daniel may have some wings to offer as well).
Also, I’ve been told the bottom of the Foil Inc mast can almost fit Lift wings. The hole spacing lines up and with a bit of sanding it can be done.

Do you still have these for sale?

Pardon the delayed response. We are presently replacing the ESC and remote and should have these back in the water better than ever soon!

Do you have the getfoil 250 wing for sale still?

Do you still have the carbon “ body” and wing for beginners for sale?

Hi Daniel,

Where did you get the esc from? and how do you get to it? The two pastic caps have to be removed? Any tips would be much appreciated.

JJ

The esc is on the side of the motor mount. Not sure what you mean regarding plastic caps? We put the new esc inside the battery compartment. Text me and I will forward pics and vids. 704-421-8778 Thanks, Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Do you know if its possible to pair the Flysky remote to the get foil board?

hey @Oden, it is not really possible on its own. You would need to replace the esc and receiver too. I don’t have any first hand experience doing it to a GetFoil board but there is actually someone who offers this as a repair service: Rip Current Repairs - GetFoil Solutions
I think he actually knows Daniel and they are both in North Carolina somewhere. There is a GetFoil facebook group where they have posted a bit about this as well.

What S_Roger said. Tanner King from ripcurrentrepairs.com can definetly replace the esc for you as well as pair it to a flipsky remote without issue.
Let me know if you need anything else for your Foil. AKA King Foil
