With my friend we decided to buy two sets of Gong V2 Alu fluid foils.
But it seems that Gong stopped selling V2 ( only leftovers on their page).
Damm , we already have some parts which would not fit to V3 masts 
There is a big used market for gong foils and you can use v3 and v2 with the same mast. I have seen some v2 wings for pretty cheap (130€ to 200€). They work and are fun to use.
you could use the v2 plane and get a v3 set up later and use both with the same mast. I do think it’s a shame I can’t use my 250€ titanium fuselage with the v3 though…

Gong still has V2 components available. I just bought a V2 xover L and some other components that were “out of stock” on their site They did preorder and after a substantial wait I got my shipment.
They also have done a lot to bridge the v2 and v3 product lines.
This is an example but they also sell a full range of V2 and V3 adapter pieces so you can mix and match
