Gong XOver V3 - V2 opinion

I use the Gong XOver V2 foil setup on their 85cm aluminum mast. I have several sizes of that front foil but have settled into using the L 85 size (1300) front foil and the 48 stabilizer as my go to for full Efoil in relatively calm water.

I am considering getting the V3 XOver front foil with matching stabilizer and a new fuselage that will allow mounting them on my existing mast. The Gong sizing for V3 doesn’t align with the V2 so haven’t concluded which one would be a close match to the 1300 size I like riding.

My question is has anyone tried the V3 product and could provide an opinion on if the upgrade from V2 is worth it?

After quite a bit of interaction with Gong technical advisors I would share the following.

Due to the increase in efficiency of the V3 product over V2 they offer this guidance. In other words in my case I would chose an L size V3 to replace my L size V2

They confirmed that a V3 fuse will fit a V2 mast but would have a more efficient “fit” if you use this

I also confirmed that you can’t specify which size of V3 X-Over stab comes with the front foil size IF you order the full rig.
