Hello and Bremote V2 order - No response from openfoil.com?

Hi All,

I am new in the tow boogie and efoil game.

However have plenty experience with electronics, drones, rc car racing and more. And have been kitesurfing for many years.

I am building a tow boogie here in autumn to accelerate my foiling learning curve. I will provide build details soon

Now for my annoying topic to start with on this forum. I ordered and paid for a fully build Bremote V2 on the 25th of August. I have not heard anything from them, except from the order confirmation email, even after contacting the support via mail twice for a status.

What are your experience with this company?

Claus

Official Update from OpenFoil

Hi everyone,

I’d like to take this opportunity to answer several questions regarding the recent delays in shipping BREmote V2 units.

Our PCB component supplier, unfortunately, made an error during production — the flat flex cable connector on the lower TX module was misplaced. This caused a few issues and customer complaints, which led us to pause all shipments and perform a full inspection of our remaining stock.

The issue has now been resolved, and we’ll resume shipping remotes next week.

For all customers who choose to have their remotes fully assembled and tested by us, please note that this process currently adds about 30 days to the delivery time. This information is clearly stated at the beginning of the product description on our website.

We also want to mention that we are currently renovating our website. We anticipated that this could temporarily affect communication with our customers, so we published a notice about possible communication delays on our homepage in September.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and slow responses during this time. We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support — your trust and kind words motivate us to keep improving every day.

Hi JasminRM,

Thank you for the quick update here

That is perfectly fine, and I look forward to playing with the new remote.
